This Sunday we have a special service where Andy and Mif Little from MAF Australia will give an update on their work, plans for returning to PNG. Andy will preach on the theme 'Unity Leads to Mission'
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is the world’s largest humanitarian air operator. For over 75 years they have been flying light aircraft over jungles, mountains, swamps and deserts. They enable more than 1,400 aid, development and mission organisations to bring medical care, emergency relief and long-term development. MAF’s pilots and personnel deliver relief workers, doctors, pastors, school books, food, medicines - everything that can only be safely and speedily delivered by air.

This Sunday, September 15, we begin a new sermon series called "When We Gather"
We are exploring what happens when we meet together for congregational worship. Why? Because ‘Spiritual formation is best undertaken not in isolation… but in the community of faith. Part of that means participating in congregational worship.’ If you have you ever wondered why we: sing together; hear Scripture read and taught; corporately confess our sins and pray; share Communion; make space for the ministry of the Spirit; and are sent out to ‘love and serve the Lord’… this series is for you!

We reflect on the costly courage and sacrifice by our armed forces and the families left behind since the 1915 landings at Gallipoli.
God of love and liberty,
we bring our thanks today for the peace and security we enjoy.
We remember those who in time of war faithfully served their country.
We pray for their families, and for ourselves whose freedom was won at such a cost.
Make us people zealous for peace, and hasten the day when nation shall not lift up sword against nation neither learn war any more.
This we pray in the name of the one who gave is life for the sake of the world:
Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

Easter Services - Good Friday March 29 and Sunday March 31
Everyone is invited to join us at our Easter services, 9.30AM Good Friday (March 29) and Easter Sunday, March 31 at 9.30AM.
Good Friday will be a service of reflection, with lots of songs, and readings from John's Gospel, with a message from our Senior Minister Rev Peter MacPherson about the death of Jesus Christ, God's Son on the cross for our sins.
We also look forward to Sunday when we celebrate afresh the Risen Jesus, triumphant over death itself!
So our Easter theme is Death to Life!
We will share in hot cross buns after the Friday service.
