St Luke’s Day Was A Great Celebration Sunday 21 October, 2018!

About 65 people worshipped together led by our Senior Minister, Rev Peter MacPherson, and instead of a sermon, many people shared personal reflections on how St Luke's has been important in their lives.

You can hear these personal reflections from our Sermons page

After morning tea and coffee, we shared a wonderful lunch together

Partnership in Mission

In late 2016 St Luke's and St Alfred's, Blackburn North, began a new partnership. The aim is under God for St Alfred's to help revitalize St Luke's and then release St Luke's to be an independent church again. During 2017 Peter MacPherson was inducted as Priest-in-Charge and Brian Westaway appointed as Associate Minister. St Luke's retains its own Wardens and Parish Council. The people of St Luke's and St Alfred's have been encouraged to visit each church and take part in the activities each church offers. This has led to lots of good will and new relationships. We are still in the early stages of the partnership and praying that St Luke's will grow. If you live in the local area and are looking for a church we’d love to meet you.

If you have any questions please talk to Rev Peter MacPherson or Rev Brian Westaway.
